I'm so glad to read your quiet blessings, so many like my own. This is as enchanting as music and I completely adore your thought process here. God bless you with many more gentle trails and songs of hope.

Oh my, this is such a lovely naming of folks like us - the tender hearted ones. For I surely identify with that. And it comforts me to share space with others - like you. I too read Tonia Peckover's blog (as recommended by a friend in The Lighthouse) and it is gentle, beautiful, and thoughtful. All the things I name as "divine sparks of joy." (Thank you for including me on your list of favorite reads - I am honored to be there.)

I, too, curate my news intake very carefully. I feel I must stay informed, but only with trusted sources, and only late in the afternoon when I still have some time before bed to recover!

I attended my first ever "protest" yesterday, although I'm calling it a Protect Democracy Demonstration instead. And it was such a good experience to take action, it really gave me hope.

I am also hoping for a good result in your election. I live within 20 minutes of the Detroit-Windsor border. I am appalled by the way the current regime here is treating the long-standing friendship between our two countries.
